"The British Labour Party has suspended George Galloway MP. The main reason they give for this is that he described George Bush and Tony Blair as wolves and encouraged British soldiers to disobey illegal orders in an illegal war.

There is also a parliamentary investigation taking place into the alleged accusations made by Daily Telegraph & Christian Science Monitor journalists, that Mr Galloway received large sums of money from the Iraqi regime.

The Syrian writer, Yusra Al Ayoubi, has launched an email campaign to support George Galloway against this vicious witch-hunt and would strongly urge you to take your part in it:

2. Write an email to the main British newspapers, or other mass media of your choice, protesting against this campaign of lies has been launched to destroy Mr. Galloway reputation and political credibility.

Dear Sir,

I with many in our world highly appreciate George Galloway MP valour to remain faithful to what conscience dictates, no matter how many difficulties he faces pursuing this uneasy way. His efforts to initiate and keep alive a global movement supporting a just cause, though it was abandoned and betrayed by many who once lifted high the same, will not be forgotten. However, such noble rare character of a great man cannot enchain the dirty tongues from slashing, even attacking the man's life not only his reputation. His enemies are so powerful, as he defies those who run after gross gains, and those who crave for power though stained by blood.

I strongly condemn this campaign of lies has been launched to destroy Mr. Galloway reputation and political credibility.

I strongly condemn The British Labour Party having suspended George Galloway MP. His only crime being that he spoke on behalf of millions of people in his country and all over the world against the illegal, immoral and unjust war that took place in Iraq.

Mr. Galloway should be sure that he is in the hearts of millions all over the world. The honest people, like him, those who ceaseless struggle for the liberty and happiness of Man where ever he lives, make our world a place suitable for man to live in; while, otherwise, it would be degraded to a Hell of Slavery impossible for life if we left it in the hands of the "Wolves"!

"قام حزب العمال البريطاني بتجميد عضوية جورج غالاوي, النائب في البرلمان, لأنه وصف جورج بوش وتوني بلير بالذئبين, وشجع الجنود البريطانيين على عصيان الأوامر غير المشروعة في حرب غير مشروعة.

وسيجري البرلمان تحقيقاً بشأن الاتهامات المزعومة, التي جاءت بها صحيفتي الدايلي تيلغراف والكريستشيان ساينس مونيتور, عن استلام السيد غالاوي مبالغ كبيرة من النظام العراقي.

ومن الواضح أن هذه هي الخطوة الأولى لطرد السيد غالاوي من حزب العمال. إن جريمته الوحيدة هي أنه تحدث بلسان ملايين الناس في بلده وفي كل أنحاء العالم ضد الحرب غير العادلة واللاأخلاقية وغير المشروعة التي شنت على العراق." (المصدر: http://www.stopwar.org.uk/)

أنا, والكثيرين في هذا العالم, نحمل تقديراً رفيعاً لاستبسال عضو البرلمان البريطاني عن حزب العمل, جورج غالاوي, في البقاء مخلصاً لما يمليه الضمير, مهما كانت العقبات التي تواجهه في مسيرته الصعبة. ولن ننسى جهوده لإطلاق حركة عالمية تناصر قضية عادلة والمحافظة على زخمها, بالرغم أنها هجرت وتمت خيانتها من قبل كثيرين ممن أعلوا شأنها في يوم من الأيام. ولكن, حتى شخصية نبيلة ونادرة لرجل عظيم لن تقوى على تقييد الألسنة القذرة, أو تحول دون تهديد حياته وليس سمعته فقط. إن أعداءه أقوياء جداً, لأنه يتحدى هؤلاء الذين يجرون وراء المكاسب الفاحشة والتواقين إلى القوة حتى لو كانت ملطخة بالدماء.

أنا أدين بشدة حملة الأكاذيب هذه التي شنت لتدمير سمعة السيد غالاوي ومصداقيته السياسية.

أنا أدين بشدة تجميد عضوية النائب جورج غالاوي في حزب العمال. وجريمته الوحيدة أنه تكلم بلسان ملايين الناس في بلده وفي كل أنحاء العالم ضد الحرب غير الشرعية واللاأخلاقية وغير العادلة التي شنت على العراق.

وليتأكد السيد غالاوي أنه في قلوب الملايين في كل أنحاء العالم, خصوصاً العرب والمسلمين إن كانوا في بلادهم أو مهاجرهم. إن الناس الشرفاء مثله هؤلاء الذين يناضلون دون هوادة من أجل تحرير وسعادة الإنسان أينما كان, يجعلون من عالمنا مكاناً يصلح لحياة البشر, ولو ترك الأمر بيد الذئاب لانحطوا به إلى جهنم عبودية تستحيل فيها الحياة.
